The database records ocean tide levels from a network of 12 recording stations on the coastline of NSW. The data can be plotted and analysed in various forms to meet the needs of a wide range of users. It can be integrated with other data sets to permit prediction and extrapolation of ocean tide levels and of potential impacts along the coast and in estuaries. A comprehensive tide chart and almanac is published annually for the whole NSW coastline with time difference figures for the major estuaries. An Annual Summary is also produced.
